The award winner will be announced in May 2015. The winning proposal will be realized at Frieze London in October 2015 as part of the Frieze Projects programme.
This year supported by the Luma Foundation, the Award is open to UK and international artists between 25–40 years of age.
Artists were invited to propose a new work to be realized at Frieze London 2015, produced under the guidance of curator Nicola Lees and the Frieze Projects team. Proposals should respond to the environment of the London fair. Applicants are judged on the innovative nature of their proposal and the potential for its realization at Frieze London.
Entrance to the Award was by open submission. The award will include a budget of up to £20,000 for production, research and development, artist fees and travel expenses.
